At the request of friends and
co-workers, a trust fund has been established for the children of Carlos R.
Lozada Sr., the Town of East Lyme worker who was killed on the job on September
5, 2003. Donations can be made payable to
“Education and Welfare Trust for the Benefit of Carlos R. Lozada, Jr., and
Monique Ortiz”, P.O. Box 660, Niantic, CT 06357.
